Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 September 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Pophunt (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Didem Erol, trading as Pophunt ("we", "us", "our"). For questions, contact [email protected].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pophunt. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Certain events may have additional age restrictions (e.g., 21+) which will be clearly marked.

If your country's minimum digital age of consent is higher than 13 — this varies by country, particularly within the EU — by registering you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account responsibilities

4. User-generated content

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

6. Community voting and auto-hide

7. Accuracy of event information

Pophunt aggregates community-submitted events. We do not independently verify the accuracy of event details, dates, or admission requirements. Always check official event sources before attending. If you identify an error, please report it so we can review the listing. Our responsibility for loss is explained in section 10.

8. Intellectual property

The Pophunt name, logo, and original content belong to Didem Erol, trading as Pophunt, or their respective rights holders. Third-party photographs, artwork, and trade marks remain the property of their owners. Attribution or a link does not grant permission to reuse them or imply endorsement of Pophunt. Nothing in these Terms restricts uses permitted by law.

9. Disclaimers

We aim to operate the Service with reasonable care and skill. Event details may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical problems. These limitations do not exclude your statutory rights or our responsibility described below.

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

If we breach these Terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or if you and we knew it might happen when you agreed to these Terms.

Event organisers are responsible for running their events. This does not remove our responsibility for our own acts or omissions. These Terms do not impose a financial cap on claims by third parties who have not agreed to them.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms. We will explain the reason and how to request a review unless doing so would be unlawful or create a safety risk. Urgent restrictions may take effect immediately. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, security requirements, or the features we provide. Material changes will be notified via in-app banner and email at least 14 days before they take effect. You may stop using the Service and delete your account without charge if you do not agree. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory right to bring proceedings in another competent court.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, EEA, US, or elsewhere, this choice of law does not remove any protection you're entitled to under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

14. Contact, legal notices, and appeals

Anyone can send a complaint or legal notice to [email protected], including people without an account. Our legal-notices guidance explains what information helps us investigate copyright, defamation, privacy, and safety complaints.

You can also ask us to review a removal, account restriction, or decision on your report by replying to our response or emailing us with the content link and your reasons. We will reconsider the decision and explain the outcome, subject to legal and safety restrictions. Using this process does not limit your right to contact a regulator or seek a legal remedy.
